I am an Arab[Iraqi]-American[German]living in Madison, Wisconsin. The closest large cities are Milwaukee and Chicago, respectively. "Dicey Venison" is a nom-de-plume I chose in reference to Wisconsin's CWD-plagued deer population. I have a wide range of interests, including, but not limited to : cuisine, music, travel, languages.
"Dicey Venison: Absorbing the Rage" (this refers to my life of servitude in retail) exists as a healthy outlet for my rants and raves.
My friends know me as a great cook, and they rarely turn down a dinner invitation. They also like to hear me sing. Along with learning to play the guitar, I also enjoy studying the Arabic language.
Won't you join me on my strange Quixotic magic carpet ride? Together we'll wander through the woods and sing, dance in ecstatic abandon at concerts, explore my neuroses and introspective nightmares(!), resurrect the musings of poets long gone, learn Arabic, and dine well along the way.
